Senghenydd 20 Vs Brynamawr 24

Brynamwr gained a crucial bonus point win and also recorded their 6th win of the season in a hard and dour contest.
The home team had first use of a strong wind and used the elements to go in with an eight point lead curteousy of a penalty and a try, Brynamwr will be dissapointed with there decision making and lack of cutting edge in a first half which saw both teams down to 14 men after Nolan Nicklin and the home sides second row recieved reds for their parts in a brawl.
The second half started with brynmawr intent on improving their first half display and they quickly reduced the deficit when Nicky Strange crossed for the first of three individual tries. With the brynmawr forwards imposing their dominance on the game both in the loose and the set piece, captain Damian Hudd crossed from a driving lineout. The backs now provided with some clean ball made the home side pay as Nicky Strange added a further 2 tries to his personal tally. Late on brynmawr lost Sipho Nobatano to the bin for not retreating 10 meters and the home side crossed for a bonus point late on.
Brynamwr will be disapointed with the performance but in picking up 4 points they are up to 2nd behinf the Garn, with the next two outings against Garn and Abergavenny.
